    The industrial janitor position is responsible for providing a clean, presentable and safe environment through a variety of custodial duties.  This position will work under limited supervision and requires daily action to maintain optimal building condition.

    The Maintenance Lead oversees and coordinates maintenance activities, evaluates equipment and facility issues, assigns work, and performs or coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance.     Essential Job Functions

    • Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities involving electrical, plumbing, ventilation, mechanical, pneumatic, and other building and equipment systems.

    • Perform initial evaluations of building systems, machinery, and equipment to identify problems and determine appropriate repair or maintenance needs.

    Physical Requirements

  • Tube Laser Operator

    Ready to build your manufacturing career with a growing, hands-on team? American Custom Metal Fabricating is hiring a full-time Tube Laser Operator to produce high-quality custom parts using advanced tube laser technology. Laser-cutting experience is a plus, but we are happy to train dependable candidates who bring a strong work ethic, solid math skills, and mechanical aptitude.

    1st Shift: Monday–Friday, approximately 4:00 or 5:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

  • Job Summary

    CNC Vertical Mill operators use computer-controlled machines to fabricate parts from metal or plastic. Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards for custom parts for ACMF customers.

    Summary of essential Job functions

    • Program Vertical Mill by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches

    • Calculate requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs

    • Sets-up Vertical Mill by installing and adjusting  three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads

    • Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position

    • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; Performs test operations to ensure the product is made to specifications

    • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes

  • Job Summary

    The Material Handler is responsible for performing and coordinating the handling of materials and products to all work centers. This role ensures efficient material flow throughout the facility, supporting production, assembly, and shipping operations. The Material Handler will also assist in improving overall shop efficiency through effective material management.

    •   Follow all shop and material handling safety practices to ensure a secure work environment.

    •   Move materials and products throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

    •   Assist in loading and unloading trucks in coordination with the Shipping and Receiving departments.

    •   Utilize overhead cranes and other lifting equipment as required to transport materials safely.

    •   Monitor and manage internal scrap bins, ensuring they are emptied as needed.

    •   Remove unused stock, skids, and other unnecessary materials from the building to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.

    •   Assist all work centers by efficiently moving products through the facility to support production needs.

    Job Summary

    The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring the internal quality of manufactured goods through inspection of products including sheet metal, structural weldments, machine shop parts, and painted items. This position ensures products conform to specifications, quality standards, dimensional requirements, and customer expectations.

    The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to identify quality issues while working effectively with Team Leaders, Management, and production personnel to resolve problems.

     

    Essential Job Functions

    • Interpret and work from fairly complicated sketches, drawings, blueprints, routings, product specifications, and quality requirements to determine dimensions and tolerance specifications.

    • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of finished products.

    • Examine products from fabrication, machining, and paint departments for defects or nonconformities.

    • Identify, analyze, and reject defective parts when necessary.

    • Identify the type and location of defects on parts, containers of parts, or inspection tags.

    • Accurately complete all required inspection and quality documentation.

    • Communicate and work with Team Leaders and Management regarding quality issues and concerns.

    • Ensure materials used in production meet specified requirements.

    • Follow up on purchase orders and required material certifications, including Material Test Reports (MTRs).

    • Use precision measuring equipment to verify product dimensions and tolerances.

    • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the inspection process.

    • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve product quality and reduce defects.

    • Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Work Environment
