  • Job Summary

    This position operates various pieces of equipment to fabricate materials per customer specifications in conjunction with quality requirements, safety standards and manufacturing philosophies within a team environment. Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.

    Summary of essential Job functions

    • Works from and interprets fairly complicated sketches, drawings, blueprints, routings, product specifications

    • Produce high quality product of superb craftsmanship

    • Create custom fabrications made from Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Mild Steel for commercial and industrial clientele

  • Job Summary

    Provide accurate pricing, routings and materials from customer supplied blueprints. Work with various departments involved with the manufacturing process of the quoted product. This is a fast paced job and requires a balance of strong technical skills as well as great communication and ability to multitask.

    Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents

    Identifies labor, material, and outsourcing requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents

    Figure set-ups and run times based off of customer specs

    Quickly generate accurate estimates of time and costs to build component parts and assemblies

    Quotes that are won will be prepared for the manufacturing departments

    The Laser Machine Operator position safely performs laser cutting for variety of metals and thicknesses.

    Summary of essential Job functions

    • Perform typical laser cutting operations

    • Operate the CNC laser cutting machine

    • Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment

    • Knowledge about shield gases used during laser cutting operation

    CNC Horizontal Mill operators use computer-controlled machines to fabricate parts from metal or plastic. Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards for custom parts for ACMF customers.

    Summary of essential Job functions

    • Program Horizontal Mill by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches

    • Calculate requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs

    • Sets-up Horizontal Mill by installing and adjusting  three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads

    • Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position

    • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; Performs test operations to ensure the product is made to specifications

    • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
